Court Mesha D1-or-D9 predicate foundation
personal.court-mesha-d1-d9-foundation
A three-valued, source-scoped Court predicate accepts authoritative Mesha D1 immediately or guarded Mesha Lagna Navamsa when the exact sidecar Lagna agrees with the local Drik frame.

Computation method
Method type: algorithm
Evaluate the source's D1-or-D9 Boolean only after preserving local Lagna authority and the selected guarded BPHS Navamsa convention, then aggregate every represented state with reject-first precedence.
Process
- Reject unsupported systems and missing, conflicting, or transition-guarded local Lagna authority to unknown.
- If the authoritative local D1 Lagna is Mesha, pass without requiring sidecar D9 facts.
- Otherwise require a valid exact sidecar Lagna whose Rasi equals the authoritative local D1; disagreement or absence is unknown.
- Derive D9 with the selected modality-based Navamsa sequence and return unknown inside 0.01 degrees of each 3 degrees 20 minutes division boundary.
- Pass when D9 is Mesha and fail when both resolved D1 and D9 are non-Mesha.
- Across a window, any resolved failure controls; otherwise unknown controls; an all-pass result still becomes unknown when D1 or D9 transitions are incomplete or the chart-request budget is exhausted.
Formulae
Court Mesha D1 or D9
pass = (D1 = Mesha) OR (D9(local-agreed exact Lagna) = Mesha)- D1: authoritative local Drik/Lahiri Lagna Rasi
- D9: guarded BPHS-modality Lagna Navamsa
- guard: plus or minus 0.01 degrees at every 3 degrees 20 minutes Navamsa division boundary
Worked example
Vrishabha D1 with Mesha D9
Inputs
- Authoritative local D1: Vrishabha
- Sidecar Lagna: Vrishabha 11.00 degrees
- No boundary or authority conflict
Calculation
- The local and sidecar Rasis agree, so the exact degree may be used for D9.
- Vrishabha is fixed, so Navamsa starts from its ninth sign Makara; 11.00 degrees is the fourth division, which advances to Mesha.
- D1 is not Mesha but D9 is Mesha.
Result
- Status: pass
- The reject predicate does not fire
Method notes
- The shared JSON oracle is synthetic contract evidence, not a source golden or external ephemeris validation.
- The specified-unwired conditional-admission record allows only a valid non-Mesha D1 candidate with an unresolved D9 alternative to be provisionally retained when issue 285 is implemented; a resolved D1/D9 miss must not survive.
Contract
Owning layer: personal
Claim kind: textual-rule
Time basis: Each exact chart sample in the candidate's half-open civil-minute window; D1 and Lagna-Navamsa transitions must both be completely represented before an all-pass window resolves.
Inputs
- canonical local Drik/Lahiri D1 Lagna Rasi
- sidecar Lagna Rasi and exact degree
- Lagna authority/transition state
- window transition coverage
- chart-request budget state
Outputs
- per-state pass, fail, or unknown with evidence
- whole-window pass, fail, or unknown
- unwired conditional-admission contract for issue 285

Raman supplies the Mesha D1-or-Navamsa clause. Local-D1 precedence, the exact-degree agreement gate, the 0.01-degree guard, reject effect, and three-valued window precedence are explicit product conventions.

Scope: Supports rejection of Tuesday and Saturday; admission of Ashwini, Rohini, Mrigashira, Pushya, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Chitra, Anuradha, Dhanishtha and Revati; Mesha Lagna or Mesha Navamsa; Guru in a Trikona from a strengthened Lagna; no malefic in the 6th; separation of the Lagna and 6th lords; and the non-predictive peace configuration. The Drik website post-screen now evaluates all five clauses across every sampled, Lagna-stable state: two exact rejection gates, two score-neutral preferences and one non-ranking information pattern. Unknown or boundary-adjacent facts retain the slot with visible review; mandatory failures remove it. The passage does not expand 'the usual unfavorable Tithis'; registered alternatives and the unchanged operational choice are separate claims. The profile is limited to filing or initiating a lawsuit and does not cover hearings, responses, settlement, appeals or outcome prediction. Legal obligations always take precedence. The legacy litigation API key resolves explicitly to this profile and is not a separate election.

Scope: Mesha Lagna-or-Navamsa and a natural-malefic-free sixth house are reject effects; Guru in a Trikona and maximum Lagna-sixth-lord separation are non-scoring preferences; the peace configuration is non-ranking information. Source wording does not itself define these product effects.

Scope: Uses the browser's canonical local Drik/Lahiri Lagna and computes house = 1 + ((graha Rasi index - Lagna Rasi index + 12) mod 12). Occupation means physical Whole Sign house presence only, not aspect, lordship, Shadbala or an inferred composite condition.

Limitations
- This issue delivers an additive Python/TypeScript predicate foundation only. It remains specified_unwired: the current D1-only base shortlist is unchanged until conditional admission issue 285 and Court integration issue 400 land.
- Only the Drik/Lahiri path can resolve the predicate. Missing local Lagna authority, sidecar/local Rasi disagreement, malformed facts, guarded Navamsa boundaries, incomplete transitions, and request-budget exhaustion remain unknown.
- The formula uses Lagna Navamsa only; it does not implement a general election baseline, strength, fortification, Shadvarga, or outcome prediction.
